加拿大中文電台在12月12至16日舉辦的上海廣播週，乃得到上海廣播電視台（SMG）的全力支持。為隆重其事，上海廣播電視台特別派出五位領導到溫哥華及多倫多探訪及觀摩。為表謝意，加拿大中文電台總裁李方特別送上溫哥華的油畫作為紀念品，並由上海廣播電視台副台長李蓉代為接收。

To show support to the Canadian airing of Shanghai Broadcast Week 2011, representatives of Radio and Television Shanghai (SMG) came to Vancouver on Dec 10 and to Toronto on Dec 12 and visited Fairchild Radio in these two cities. As a token of appreciation, George Lee, President of Fairchild Radio presented Rong Li, Deputy Chairman of SMG with an oil painting of Vancouver. Although the special guests came on a cold and rainy day, the oil painting will give them a hint how beautiful Vancouver is on a bright sunny day.
