Presented by Fairchild Media Group, the historial epic "1911" is the most anticipated film this Fall and it is coming to selective theatres in Vancouver starting October 7, 2011. The day before its public screening, Fairchild Radio hosted a premiere at the Cineplex Odeon Internatonal Village Cinemas and over 200 celebrities, movie critics and listeners attended the special screening.

由新時代傳媒集團榮譽呈獻的史詩式電影《辛亥革命1911》，由10月7日起在溫哥華全城公映，為隆重其事，加拿大中文電台特別在公映前一天(10月6日)，在溫哥華國際村戲院 (Cineplex Odeon International Village Cinemas) 舉行盛大的首映禮，近二百位政商名流、社會賢達出席捧場，冠蓋雲集，星光熠熠。

被喻為中國歷史轉捩點的辛亥革命（1911年10 月10日），將在下星期一正式踏入一百週年，全球華人不分地域界限，政治體制都紛紛舉行紀念活動。在溫哥華的華人社區尤其活躍，以辛亥革命為題材的文化活動、報章特刊、電視電台特輯等百花齊放，足見本地的華人移民，對中國的文化及歷史仍十分關注。

"1911" tells the story of a Chinese revolutionary leader (played by Jackie Chan) who rebelled against the powerful Qing Dynasty during the Xinhai Revolution in the year 1911, paving the way for the formation of modern China. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution (Oct 10, 1911).

Meanwhile, cinematic icon Jackie Chan is also celebrating his own "One Hundred" - "1911" will be the 100th film he has starred in during his amazing movie career that spans half a century. His previous film "The Karate Kid" with Jaden Smith was an internatonal blockbuster last year.

電影《辛亥革命1911》演員陣容龐大，由成龍擔任總導演並領銜主演，其他巨星包括趙文瑄、李冰冰、陳沖、姜武、房祖明、孫淳、胡歌等70多位。導演張黎把恢宏慘烈的戰爭場面、浪漫淒美的烽火戀情及成龍專長的武打橋段融入到電影中，令影片有了極強的可觀性。另外，《辛亥革命》也是功夫巨星成龍的第一百部電影。

《辛亥革命1911》總投資超過1億元，劇組曾先後在遼寧、上海、浙江、北京、河北、內蒙古、海南等地取景，影片將辛亥革命的有關事件例如血染黃花崗、武昌起義、陽夏保衛戰、南北和談、創建共和制、清廷退位等，以鮮活壯麗的畫面呈現於大銀幕上。影片並不走流水賬的路線，而是以海外孫中山（趙文瑄飾）智謀斡旋、國內黃興（成龍飾）武裝起義作雙線發展，令劇情更為緊湊。
